##OPEN SCIENCE BEERS in Munich
Openness in Science is a hot topic which is relevant for different areas 
of science. The monthly event aims to bring together scientists across 
fields for informal conversations about Open Science.
The main goal is to bring together like-minded people. However, we also 
welcome newcomers to Open Science or researchers who are curious or 
skeptical and want to discuss pros and cons of Open Science.

The meetings will start in the new semester (after April 9th). The 
events will be coordinated using both a Google group 
(https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/open-science-beers-munich) and 
a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/213613219386227/). On 
both of these, I will post information about upcoming meetings, and 
members can post specific questions or topics for conversation that they 
would like to bring up at the next meeting. Please sign up to the Google 
group and/or the Facebook page if you are interested in attending this 
event, or also if you would just like to be kept up-to-date about 
upcoming meetings.

The event will take place on a monthly basis. The day of the week and 
the time will be determined by Doodle poll; link: 
https://doodle.com/poll/6mu5as8xhh2wbfeg. Please vote in the poll only 
if you would like to come on a regular basis.

The location of the event is to be determined. I would welcome 
suggestions for places in Munich that (1) are easily accessible, also 
for people who might be coming from different cities, (2) have good 
acoustics to enable conversation, and (3) have good beer!
