<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="DE">DataFest Germany is a premier data-based competition, commonly referred to as a "hackathon," held annually on a rotational basis between Mannheim and Munich. Coordinated in partnership with industry leaders and research
institutions, this event provides Bachelor and Masters-level students from all disciplines with a unique opportunity to showcase their data analytics skills.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span lang="DE">How Does It Work?</span></b><span lang="DE">
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="DE">Teams of 3–5 students will have 48 hours to dive into a comprehensive dataset, revealed only at the beginning of the event. Through visualization, analysis, modeling, and more, participants will strive to uncover valuable
insights. After the competition, teams will present their findings to a distinguished panel of judges comprising data experts from various fields. Prizes will be awarded across categories such as "Best Insight," "Best Visualization," and "Best Use of Outside
Data."<o:p></o:p></span></p>

will have the chance to connect with potential employers at the event's internal CareerFair, enhancing their career prospects in the dynamic field of data science.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
