there are still places available for the very popular course “Node-Level Performance Engineering“ co-organised by LRZ and NHR@FAU for PRACE, the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe. The course introduces performance engineering approaches on the compute node level. Topics covered include: pipelining, SIMD, superscalarity, caches, memory interfaces, ccNUMA, topology & affinity in multicore environments, the roofline model, hardware performance counters, optimal use of parallel resources, roofline case studies and basics of performance engineering.

The registration deadline has been extended to Friday 02.12.2022 noon.
