Dear users of the SuperMUC petaflop system at LRZ, In the course of preparing the electrical infrastructure for the phase 2 installation, a power outage of at least 48 hours is needed. During this outage the system will naturally not be available for user operation. Therefore, batch processing will be stopped on August 19, 6:00. It is expected that general user operation will be resumed in the morning of August 22. There will be no changes to the software environment during this interruption of operation.
