Dear Sir or Madam, dear students,

 

Every day the BMW Group shapes its vision of sustainable, individual mobility in the premium segment. More than ever, we understand how important it is to play a role in shaping the "Next Generation" for sustainable mobility of the future. This generation has concrete ideas about what tomorrow's mobility should look like.

 

That’s why the BMW Group is hosting the global #NEXTGen Moving Tomorrow Pitch, a competition which encourages students, research associates and professors from top universities and research institutions from America, Asia and Europe to realize their visions and ideas to spearhead a bright future. Through the #NextGen Moving Tomorrow Pitch, BMW wants to embrace entrepreneurship and empower young creatives and geniuses to shape the next generation of tomorrow’s individual premium mobility. Develop a visionary, sustainable and comprehensive overall concept for individual mobility in the year 2040 for a global audience at the BMW Group Event "#NextGen 2020", held from the 6th through the 10th of October in Munich.

 

There is just one rule: You must give yourselves complete freedom to create your own visions, supported by the talents of your 'Next Generation', and convince the international jury of the "#NextGen 2020". This can be either a design or a technology or even both. However, the focus should always be on premium individual (private) transport.

 

The five most promising teams worldwide will be prepared by internal coaches of the BMW Group, and will be allowed to present their ideas and concepts to top BMW Group managers and a broad public at the "#NextGen 2020" in October. Travel expenses are covered by the BMW Group. The winning team will receive prize money of 15,000 Euros, a meet-and-greet with the Board of Management of BMW AG and the opportunity to develop your project together with BMW in real-size in an industry cooperation of at least two years.

 

Submit your ideas by the 30^th of June 2020. And then, get live on stage at the #NEXTGen 2020 in Munich!
