Dear open innovation enthusiasts
The EUGLOH (The European University Alliance for Global Health) of which LMU is a member, is organizing a networking event in Porto in November 2026 (travel costs can be covered).
They are inviting
contributions from LMU members on the topic of open innovation i.e. on innovation that draws on openly available resources, such as open research data and open-source code. They encourage contributions that highlight the use of open tools, transparent
methodologies, and collaborative frameworks to drive innovation and create shared value for society and all stakeholders.
Deadline for submitting your interest is July 17.

Networking Opportunity for innovation enthusiasts
We’re sharing this call for participation for LMU colleagues to contribute to the event Knowledge Transfer Forum hosted by The European University Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH).
The event will take place in Porto, Portugal in November 2026.
The Forum is designed to bring together colleagues from all 9 EUGLOH partner universities fostering collaboration and innovation. The focus lies on
transforming scientific knowledge into societal and economic value. There will be hands-on sessions in four thematic tracks: technology transfer, career services, community engagement and open innovation.
You can actively engage and contribute to the event by sharing your experience / best practices and/or participate for inspiration and networking. We thought, the open innovation track might be of special interest for
you.
