Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

das Thema „Forschungsdatenmanagement“ (FDM) ist in vielen Bereichen des wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens präsent. National und international setzen Initiativen wie die „European Open Science Cloud“ (EOS) oder die „Nationale Forschungsdateninfrastruktur“ (NFDI) wichtige Impulse. Seit ein paar Jahren wird mit der „Love Data Week“ (LDW) weltweit auf aktuelle Entwicklungen rund um Forschungsdaten und deren Management aufmerksam gemacht. Ein wichtiger Bestandteil dieser Themenwoche sind auch die Durchführung von Informations- und Weiterbildungsveranstaltungen.

Die Love Data Week findet in diesem Jahr vom 10. - 14. Februar unter dem Motto “Whose Data Is It, Anyway?” statt. Die Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München beteiligt sich auch dieses Jahr wieder mit einem umfangreichen Programm:

Darüber hinaus wird es dieses Jahr bei der Love Data Week zusammen mit den Universitätsbibliotheken der University of Liverpool (UOL) und der University of Georgia, Athens (UGA) erstmalige eine Reihe mit internationalen Vorträgen geben, an der sich von Seiten der LMU München die IT-Gruppe Geisteswissenschaften (ITG) und die Universitätsbibliothek beteiligen. The topic of "research data management" (RDM) is present in many areas of scientific work. Nationally and internationally, initiatives such as the "European Open Science Cloud" (EOSC) or the "National Research Data Infrastructure" (NFDI) are providing important impetus.
