Dear LMU Open Science Center community
In two weeks, on Thursday 17 November, we have a series of events: a seminar and our member’s meeting where we hope to present the results of the OSC survey (please participate
in the OSC survey), followed by a dinner.
Title: Meta Research and the QUEST for responsible research
Abstract: Meta-research, or the science of science, allegedly improves your research. But how can you leverage this to identify and fix common problems in your own research?
How can you engage in your own meta research? And will this be beneficial for your career?
PD Dr. Ulf Tölch will give an overview of current developments in the field and how these connect to your recent research endeavors.
Presenter: PD Dr. Ulf Tölch is Head of research group 'Education, Training & Quality in Research' at the QUEST center for Responsible Research of the Berlin Institute of Heath from the Charité, Berlin
Registration: https://en.xing-events.com/RGNEAAB.html
The LMU OSC will report on actions we took after your feedback in our last meeting in May, and we will present the result of the OSC survey. From your views on topics and activities the OSC should engage with, we will discuss (and hopefully
agree on) directions for the OSC !
Anybody is invited to the meeting (even if not an ‘official member’ of the OSC):

Passcode: 498200
This will inform us of your preferred mode of participation and type of activities for the upcoming year.
