The University Library of LMU Munich is offering an introduction to Research Data Management (RDM) on Tuesday, May 16 2023, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm in a hybrid format.

Research data are a central element of scientific work and play an increasingly important role in everyday research.

But what exactly do we mean by research data and how is the practical management of (research) data structured?

• Basics of RDM
• Tools for researching, planning and publishing data
• Best practices to the handling of data and files in general and can, for example, prevent data loss.

How to join

The training takes place online as a webinar and as a face-to-face training in the Training Room of the University Library (Zentralbibliothek, ground floor, room F002).
