We would like to draw your attention to the upcoming on-site “Intel Developer Workshop”, taking place on 20. – 21. April 2026 at LRZ in Garching near Munich.
This workshop introduces participants to Intel’s modern HPC software ecosystem, with a focus on practical development and performance optimisation using the oneAPI toolchain. On the first day, the workshop provides an overview of the Intel oneAPI software stack and the Intel LLVM compilers (ICX/IFX). The second day focuses on libraries such as oneMKL and on performance analysis using tools like VTune, APS, and Intel Advisor.
We encourage our HPC users to participate in this workshop to learn how to use the new OneAPI compilers ICX/IFX, which are now default on LRZ's HPC systems. The workshop will provide guidance for the transition from the legacy compilers ICC/IFORT to ICX/IFX.
