Fortran standardization committee meets at LRZ

The 195th meeting of the Fortran standardization committee (WG5/J3)
 will take place at the LRZ from June 27, 2001 to July 1, 2011. Some of
 the topics that will be worked on are
 
   * completion of the technical work on TR29113, a Technical Report
     which extends the existing Fortran 2008 standard by adding more
     features to Interoperability of Fortran with the C language
   * discussion of additional coarray features, to improve on the
     parallel functionality defined in Fortran 2008
 
 Since this is a public event, observers are welcome. However, the
 number of seats in the conference room is limited. Therefore, anyone
 who wishes to participate as an observer should please contact the host
