SuperMUC: interruption of service Dec. 11

Dear users of the SuperMUC Petaflop system,
 
 Due to acceptance benchmarking of the extended GPFS subsystem, user
 operation of the complete thin node system will be suspended on 
 December 11 between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. At the beginning of this
 benchmarking period, still running jobs will be deleted. Access to the
 login nodes will be blocked during this interruption of services.
 
 The migration system supzero is not impacted by these activities.
