 The system is back in operation.
 There is still a rebuild of the data storage system going on in the
 background. We expect a moderate impact on performance for I/O for some
 hours caused by this issue.
 
 We are sorry for the delay and thank for your patience.

 After the power outage the storage system has not yet returned to
 normal status. Therefore we can not resume general user operation this
 morning.

 Dear users of the SuperMUC petaflop system at LRZ,
 
 In the course of preparing the electrical infrastructure for the phase
 2 installation, a power outage of at least 48 hours is needed. During
 this outage the system will naturally not be available for user
 operation.
 
 Therefore, batch processing will be stopped on August 19, 6:00. It is
 expected that general user operation will be resumed in the morning of
 August 22.
 
 There will be no changes to the software environment during this
 interruption of operation.
