Topics to be discussed will include, but are not limited to: the history of computer science; the foundations of computation and mathematical cognition; computational and informational perspectives on scientific decision making, scientific methodology, and the characterisation of scientific theories; physical notions of computation and the 'Physical Church-Turing Thesis'.
