Video Transmission "Parallel Programming of High Performance Systems"

Dear HPC users of LRZ,

also this year LRZ will offer a basic (@RRZE) and an advanced Parallel Programming HPC course (@LRZ), organised in collaboration with the Erlangen Regional Computing Centre (RRZE).

NEW:

We are happy to announce that there will be a video transmission of the basic Parallel Programming HPC course at RRZE to LRZ in Garching b. München (lecture room, H.E.009, 7.-11.3.2016, 09:00-18:00). We invite all interested users in the Munich area to join the transmission. Since there are many places available in the lecture hall, there is no registration deadline for the video transmission, however we would greatly appreciate it if you could send an E-mail to weinberg at lrz.de<mailto:weinberg at lrz.de> if you want to join the transmission at LRZ and have not registered yet. Please mind that there will be no hands-on sessions at LRZ.

The advanced course "PRACE PATC Course: Advanced Topics in High Performance Computing" will take place at LRZ, Monday, April 4 - Thursday, April 7, 2016, 9:00-18:00

Topics: Processor-specific optimisation, parallel I/O with MPI I/O, tuning of I/O on LRZ's HPC systems, Intel Xeon Phi programming, PGAS programming, ...
