Dear LMU OSC community members,

Our colleagues at QUEST Berlin and Reproducible Research Oxford are organizing their 5th open research summer school targeting novices in open research practices. This will take place in person in Berlin on 5th-9th September 2022.

MSc/PhD students and postdocs interested in the programme are invited to apply before 31 May 2022. The school is delivered for free and there is a limited number of traveling stipends that can be offered.

Program
The five-day summer school will consist of a series of lectures that cover the following topics:

  *   Biases in research
  *   Reproducibility
  *   Best practices for sharing publications, data, and code
  *   Meta-research
  *   Ethical conduct of research with a focus on ethics of animal research

The lectures will be complemented by a series of interactive workshops, which participants can choose from based on their needs (e.g. introduction to R and Python, reproducible workflows, version control in Git and Github, data management, and preregistration, 3R principles).
