Next Philosophy of Physics Reading Group Meeting: 13 Jan.

Dear Colleagues,

Our next meeting will run from 14:15-15:45 on the date indicated in E341 
of the main university building.  Michael Stoeltzner will lead 
discussion on some of his work on action principles:

"Action Principles and Teleology," Inside Versus Outside, eds. H. 
Atmanspacher and G. J. Dalenoort, Berlin: Springer, 1994.
"Can the Principle of Least Action Be Considered a Relativised A 
Priori?" Constituting Objectivity: Transcendental Perspectives on Modern 
Physics, eds. M. Bitbol, P. Kerszberg, and J. Petitot, Berlin: Springer, 
2009.

For the first article, Michael has suggested omitting sections 4.7 and 
6.  Please see the attached pdf files for both of these readings.
