by LMU Open Science Center News Oct. 23, 2019

Oct. 23, 2019
### Open Science Tools and Services for Your Scientific Work ZPID - Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information offers the academic community in psychology a unique collection of free services that facilitate their work. Based on an ideal-type research cycle, ZPID supports the entire scientific work process from gathering ideas and researching literature to documenting research, archiving data, and publishing the results. Specifically, ZPID assists psychologists in finding information on relevant publications and tests via PubPsych (www.pubpsych.org) Furthermore, ZPID operates a repository for a variety of digital research objects (www.psycharchives.org) and runs several journals to publish research (www.psychopen.eu) All tools and services are offered free of charge to the academic community. The overall aim of the talk is to provide an overview of the currently available and to be expected open science tools and services offered by ZPID. For instance, new services encompass a preregistration service and free data collection in ZPID’s online lab and online panel. The focus is on the value proposition for, and the specific usage scenarios by researchers, lecturers, and students. Ample time will be devoted to discuss specific applications the audience is most interested in. For details on the event, please see: http://leibniz-psychology.org/roadshow/. **The event is focused on psychology, but researchers from related disciplines are welcome to join the event and to use the services of the ZPID.** **A few places are left for the event** - if you want to join, we kindly ask you to register at this website: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1wp3g20gSj_dSyVWY2LCS7-_1nN4tSlFpGoXNvkxXKw… Best, Felix Schönbrodt --- ![](cid:5D959161-626B-4BBA-87E3-B5214C35D74E@psy.lmu.de "PastedImage.png") http://www.osc.lmu.de/ Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/lmu_osc Join our email newsletter: https://lists.lrz.de/mailman/listinfo/lmu-osc [Unsubscribe](https://lists.lrz.de/mailman/listinfo/lmu-osc) from the newsletter.
